The locker

The gear behind a member’s photographs, read from EXIF. Two spellings of one camera count as one. The cabinet’s Camera bag is the locker narrowed to what is in the bag now.

Bodies come first, then lenses by the year of their last photograph, then what is on the shelf for when the job calls for it, then the collection, then what came before, formerly. A star marks the favourite body and the favourite lens, one of each, named on the cabinet.

List or Roster: the same kit as cards, or as one table. The ledger’s columns are on the owner’s roster alone.

Found in your photographs lists what EXIF names that the locker doesn’t hold; tick what to keep and say where it stands, and the rest is passed over, as is anything you remove: not offered on its own again, but waiting under Passed over before whenever you change your mind. Prune puts a tick on every row, then removes the ticked or moves them to one standing.

Each piece opens on a page of its own: what the photographs say about it and the pictures made with it. Tripods, flashes and bags have their places too; a name merged into another is listed on that one’s page.
