A piece of kit

What the photographs say: how many, over which years, and for a lens the bodies it was used on. The count opens the pictures made with it.

Change, for the owner, holds everything in one place: the name, kind and notes, a link to the manual, a picture, the standing (in the bag, on the shelf, in the collection, formerly), the star, and the ledger. For the picture: pctrs looks one up online when a body or a lens is added, and the maker’s page link and your own upload are each kept as offers; the piece wears the one you choose, and nothing is swapped under you. A found picture says where it came from. When the manual link is a PDF, pctrs fetches it once and keeps it, so the website and the app read the same copy. The ledger is yours alone: bought when, from whom, for how much; sold when, to whom, for how much, in the currency set in Settings.

Merge folds this piece into another of the same kind; its name stays as another name of that one and keeps counting. Remove takes it out of the locker; the photographs keep their own record.
